By Elias Kiplimo Kenyan citizens can now file their claims at any Huduma Centre outlet countrywide after a partnership with the Unclaimed Financial Assets Authority (UFAA) on Wednesday, March 30, 2022. Over the years, members of the public have faced numerous challenges in claiming financial assets. Speaking during the event, UFAA Chief Executive Officer John Mwangi noted that the partnership between UFAA and Huduma Kenya is aimed at bringing the services closer to the people. Mwangi said that citizens will now walk into Huduma centres countrywide and receive guidance on how to claim, follow up on their claim and get educated about unclaimed financial assets. He informed  Kenyans that they can also claim their assets online through simple steps by visiting their website at www.ufaa.co.ke and claim their financial assets digitally. Mwangi said that UFAA is more inclined toward digital service delivery hence the partnership with the Huduma. UFAA will use a model known as Business Processed outsourcing (BPO) where their services are outsourced to Huduma centre where Kenyans will be guided on how to claim their assets. "For those people who are IT service because as we all agree that the way to go is digital it is not sustainable to have the government agencies putting their tents here to offer their services," said Mwangi.
