MCK announces Education and Health grants for accredited independent content producers

The Media council of Kenya has i invited Independent content producers to submit proposals for Grants on Education and Health reporting.

In an advertisement through its Social media handles, MCK says the Education reporting should present In-depth insights and information that will gear discourse and participation in development of policies and interventions that promote acess to education

Additionally, the stories should emphasize on the fundamental requirement of education to all Kenyans. 

Meanwhile, stories on Health reporting should be aimed at building trust in the Healthcare system as well as provide solutions to the current Healthcare challanges that conforms with Kenya's vision 2030.

Sucessful applicants will be awarded with grands from up to Ksh 15,000.

The application invites only content produces who have been accredited by the media council of Kenya with the application deadline running up to 30thDecember, 2023.

MCK says all the stories should be published via appropriate websites by 18th December, 2023.

Interested applicants should also submit a synopsis of the story not exceeding 150 words, the story should also provide sources of the information and the editors contact details. 

The application can be assessed via the MCK website or its advertisements.
