Technology is learning companion

Since the emergency of technology, learning and acquiring knowledge by people, especially students, has been a good friend to them. It has modified everything. 

The problem-solving questions have never been a big issue since academic materials are available on Google. 

For this reason any tutor and learner can easily access those materials and seek answers. 

Technology has changed the way learning institutions and students learn and acquire information. 

Learning resources have been disseminated in online and other platforms. 

Technology led to the democratization of knowledge and information where it fits to learning preferences. Here, students can choose their level of education that suits their needs and course materials. 

It helps students to customize their learning styles easily. 

Technology increases the engagement of students, immediate feedback and retaining of knowledge through virtual classrooms and interactive learning platforms. 

The advancement of technology in this digital space is giving the students a chance to prepare themselves by familiarizing with digital tools. 

Learning materials that are available on the internet are less expensive thus making it affordable to many students. 

Nonetheless, it saves time in terms of searching, accessing and processing the information on time. 

However, consuming and relying too much on internet information has led to shallow learning results. 

There is a decline in critical thinking skills and absence of significant peer discussion. 

In addition, relying on digital tools can lead to the face to face discussion and abilities of students to solve problem-solving. 

The cases of cheating in examinations have been spotted in several incidents.

Teachers and other academic scholars have also embraced digital space to solve their problem, some information is not verified.

Some students are exposed to adult content and material that can mislead them and lead to moral decay.

Those students and teachers that are living in remote areas find it difficult to access online information due to the poor connection of the internet.

But all in all, the internet has transformed the education sector. It comes with many advantages.
