The Kenya Leather Industrial Park [KLIP] located in Kenanie area, Machakos County, is one of the projects that will greatly contribute to the local economic standards as soon as it is completed and starts working.

KLIP points to the potential and opportunity that Kenya had not seen as a way to expand industries but now I am happy to see how the government took that step.

President William Ruto has assured the public that the construction of the project will be completed by March 2025.

This will be one of Kenya's vision for 2030, which proposes industrial growth as a catalyst for national economic growth.

This KLIP project has many benefits for this Kenyan nation, many are expected as soon as it is completed. In the sector of livestock products such as leather, there will be a huge revolution when it starts working.

Thousands of job opportunities will be created to give Kenyans, especially young people, the opportunity to work that will enable them to earn an income and improve their living conditions.

Apart from work, this project will be able to give young people a field to acquire skills that will help them develop themselves in life.

Young people and other Kenyans will be creative to discover things from the factory. It's a glimmer of hope for the communities surrounding KLIP.

Success will be evident in homes, businesses, and markets, family income will improve. It is a relief for breeders who have been struggling here and there for a long time to find markets and auctions for their livestock. KLIP is the best solution to the challenge.

This step will lead to a high level of awareness of livestock breeding in abundance. Undoubtedly, the number of livestock production will increase.

This project will also attract local and foreign investors to invest in this sector, thus further strengthening and increasing the country's income.

Kenya will be at the forefront of the international leather market through KLIP, this will put this country on the map of being a major competitor.

This project aims to focus specifically on increasing the price or value of finished leather products and not on raw leather. By doing so, income through foreign currency will increase.

The export of raw materials to its production will lead Kenya to economic independence. This one big step from the government should be given a kind of compliment.

Cooperation between the public and private sectors is very important in the development of the nation. It is the right time for the government to take steps to complete the project now.

The government should not just stop at KLIP but continue to launch many other projects that will benefit future generations and reduce the challenge of unemployment among young people.
