17-year-old boy in court for stealing over Sh1.2 million from Equity bank

A 17 year old boy was on Monday arraigned before the Kenol Law courts facing theft charges.

Meshack Ouma, a form four leaver, appeared before Kenol Senior Resident Magistrate Sheila M Nyaga charged that on May 23 this year, he stole Sh1,259,000 at Equity Bank, Kenol branch.

The accused had completed his secondary education and was working at the bank prior to joining University for further studies.

Ouma denied the charges and the case was set for mentioning on 21st June, 2023.
