Kesses Level Four Sub-County Hospital Nears Completion, Residents Promised Enhanced Healthcare

Governor of Uasin Gishu County, Jonathan Bii Chelilim, has confirmed his administration's commitment to strengthening the provision of health services in the area.
Speaking during an inspection of the area, Governor Chelilim gave information on the progress of the Kesses Sub-County Hospital Level Four, one of the major health projects under his leadership.
The Regional Commissioner highlighted the importance of the hospital which is currently 88 percent complete.
"Strengthening health services is at the forefront of our agenda," he said.
"My administration is committed to completing important projects on time, including the Kesses Level Four Sub-County Hospital," he added.
The hospital is being built to provide comprehensive healthcare services to the residents of Uasin Gishu County, an area known for its hardworking and resilient people.
Governor Chelilim expressed his satisfaction with the progress made so far, and emphasized that the center will play an important role in addressing the health needs of the local community.
Upon completion, Kesses Sub-County Hospital Level Four will be a modern facility, equipped with the latest equipment necessary to provide high-quality health care.
Among the hospital's features will be a modern kitchen and advanced laundry facilities, designed to achieve the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
In addition, the hospital will install an incinerator, which will be essential for the safe disposal of medical waste, thus ensuring safety and sanitation.
A fully equipped maternity wing will cater to the needs of expectant mothers, providing them with the best care during delivery.
The hospital will also have an operating room, a modern laboratory, and a casualty unit to handle emergencies and critically ill cases.
Orthopedic services will be available to handle injuries and bone-related conditions, while a state-of-the-art mortuary will provide dignified and efficient services to those passing by.
Governor Chelilim emphasized that these centers are necessary to provide the residents of Uasin Gishu County with the quality healthcare they deserve.
"This hospital is not just a building; it is a sign of our commitment to improve the lives of our people. When it is completed, it will provide various services that will significantly improve access to health services in our county," he said.
The Governor's commitment to the project reflects his broad vision for the health care system in the county, which includes improving existing facilities, expanding access to health care, and ensuring that all residents get the care they need.
