Youths in South Central Seme Location engaging in criminal activities have been put on notice.

Addressing residents at Centre in Seme Sub County in Kombewa Town, area chief Caleb Apondi Okuom asked the youths to desists from criminal activities warning that the government would soon catch up with them.

“This is my advice to the youths to dissociate themselves from criminal activities like robbery because there’s no award for robbers nor does the law allow the practice of criminal activities like robbery,” warned Apondi.

He added, “If you are a thief yet to be caught, then lie low because you have no permission to operate and nobody has licensed you or any pastor ordained you,” he said.

Apondi spoke in the wake of an incident where four of the local youths were caught in the act of robbery and killed by irate residents of Kombewa in Kit Mikai.

“So it’s my plea that if they are bringing the bodies of the late criminals, then let them do it peacefully and let them not organize for discos like what I have seen going on for we will not allow it,” warned Apondi.

However, he condemned killing of the suspected criminals warning that he shall not condone such incidences in his jurisdiction.
