Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka has made a passionate plea for national unity as Kenya undergoes difficult economic times.
Speaking at the official opening and dedication of the ACK Trinity Church House in Bondo, Siaya County, Governor Lusaka acknowledged the country's economic struggles since independence but emphasized that patriotism demands collective action to overcome the challenges the country is facing.
Lusaka noted that the country is more important than an individual and its high time the country’s interests come before those of an individual.
The Governor urged residents to be patient as all would be well as we wait for the Kenya Kwanza government to fix the economic woes the country is undergoing.
Among the distinguished guests present during the occasion were Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, Information, Communications, and the Digital Economy Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owalo, Fred Gumbo, and MP Gideon Ochanda among others.
