Educationists tip youth in Murang’a.

Educationist Reuben Nyagia has called on the youth in Murang’a county to take their education seriously saying it’s the only equalizer and game changer in today’s ever-competitive world.

Nyagia who is a renowned champion in advocating for the importance of education

also served as the CEC Education in the Murang’a County Government’s former regime observed that it is only through education that fair distribution in governments’ opportunities can be achieved.

He urged leaners to take their education with utmost seriousness as that is the only way to change their lives and uplift societies.

“The opportunities that are there will be taken by people who have an education, and today’s world is ever competitive so for you to get an equal chance, please take your education seriously by working hard,” he stated

“Safeguard your future by heeding to the words of your teachers and parents as they are your natural educators and they mean well for you” he added

Nyagia further observed that through education the country will be able to eradicate poverty, retrogressive practices, insecurity and excessive abuse of life through abuse of drugs and alcohol intake.

The educationist who had previously served as a head teacher in various schools for over 40 years also urges parents to encourage their children and to support them as they endeavor to transform their lives through education.

“Let the children know they are not alone, support them, mentor and encourage them to pursue education as it is one of the ways to achieve long term growth, spur innovation and foster social cohesion “he noted

Additionally, the education stakeholders also need to collaborate and work harmoniously for the sector to flourish and serve the intended purpose of transforming lives and strengthen institutions.
