Five killed in latest bandit attack

Five people have been reported dead after bandits raided Tigania area along the Meru-Isiolo border, Meru County on Tuesday morning, April 19, 2022.

According to reports, some of the victims were shot dead and others beheaded.

Police have since responded to the scene of the incident. However, area residents protested against police taking the bodies of the deceased complaining that they have appealed to the government for enhanced security but nothing has been done to that effect.
