Kakamega Homeboyz went on a riot past Sofapaka hammering them 5-0 in an FKF Kenyan premier league match played at the Bukhungu stadium in Kakamega on Friday afternoon.
Batoto ba mungu were not given any time to respond as they watched the Homeboyz net five times past their helpless goalkeeper.
It wad Stephen Opuko who opened the party for Homeboyz in the 30th minute with a header from a corner kick.
Ten minutes later, Homeboyz added their lead with another header by Brain Eshihanda delivered on a cross by Kevin Amwayi.
Eshihanda completed a brace three minutes later with another header taking the hosts 3 goals up past Sofapaka.
Ambrose Sifuna made it four into the Half time from Moses Shumah's pass and the game seemed over in just 45 minutes.
15 Minutes into the second half, Christopher Masinza found the back of the net after being served to an assist by his younger brother Enock Masinza.
The Win takes Homeboyz into the fourth place of the standing with 18 points after 11 matches three points behind league leaders Posta Rangers who play Ingwe on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Sofapaka lay at the bottom of the Kenya Premier league standings with just 7 points in 11 matches having lost their 8 games this season.
