Sha carri Richardson and her team mate Noah Lyles led t USA Men's and women's teams into the 4×100 - meter relay golden victory for the second time in a row in the world Athletics championships in Budapest.
This was the second time the USA won the short relays in the Championships doing a similar fashion back in 2007.
This was a particularly special triumph for Lyles as it marked his treble in the championship having won the 100M and 200M in Budapest an achievement that he only shares with Jamaican Legend Usain Bolt who won a treble in 2015 championships.
The U.S. women’s team secured victory with a time of 41.03 seconds, narrowly edging out Jamaica by a mere 0.18 seconds, while Britain claimed the third-place spot. In the men’s race, Italy finished in second place with a time of 37.62 seconds, followed by Jamaica.
