Arsenal moved four points clear at the top of the Premier League Premier league table after a narrow 2-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Emirates Stadium.
The victory also marked the sixth consecutive win for the Gunners at home in all competitions.
The Gunners stunned their visitors with just six minutes into the game after Defender Tomiyasu server red hot Bukayo Saka with a clean pass calmly finishing it into the net.
Arsenal doubled their first-half lead with Oleksandr Zinchenko heavily involved before Martin Odegaard fired first-time past Jose Sa.
Sa would later sustain an injury through the force play which compelled his replacement with Dan Bentley.
Leandro Trossard missed the chance to wrap things up before Wolves surprisingly pulled one back against the run of play, with Matheus Cunha curling an effort inside the far post.
Eddie Nketiah struck the post in the last minutes of the match adding more threats to the wolves box but the results eventually ended in favor of the hosts maintaining their lead on top of the table with 33 points after 14 matches with 4 points ahead of Manchester city who welcome Tottenham Hotspur on Etihad on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Wolves, despite extending their impressive PL scoring streak to 13 games, drop to 13th with 15 points in 14 games.
