By Peter Ochieng Peter Muchendu has resigned from his position as deputy organizing secretary of the Chama cha Kazi, led by Gatundu South Member of Parliament (MP) Moses Kuria. The party has been faced with claims of shortchanging aspirants, which may have played a role in his resignation. They were either allegedly denied tickets or asked to withdraw from various races. Muchendu decided to quit, citing among others mistrust and 'poor' leadership by party leader Moses Kuria. The vocal MP is eyeing the Kiambu gubernatorial seat.
