Disbursement of NG-CDF for infrastructural development

Butere Sub County Legislator Tindi Mwale has distributed over shillings 13 million to cater for Infrastructural development in the area.

The MP said it was the first phase of distribution courtesy of the National Government Constituency Fund.

‘We have issued cheques for the construction and completion of several institutions to enhance infrastructural development in our great Butere,” he said.

Mwale was speaking yesterday at Bumamu sub-location while offering funds for the completion of Shiraha police post, construction of the administration block at Bulanda Primary School and purchase of land for Eshikangu Primary School at a tune of shillings one million, 800,000 and 400,000 respectively.

Other projects to be completed include classrooms at Emahola Primary, an administration block at Eshitari primary school and dormitories at Lufumbo girls and Bumamu secondary school. 

The MP promised to advance infrastructural development in the area and said already five million had been channeled to Ituti secondary to construct 8 storey building.

“The steps we have undertaken will improve the safety of our people and have a good environment for learning,” he said.
