Ensure All Phones Are Off, Exam Centre Managers Told

 All examination centre managers must ensure phones within the precinct of the exam rooms are off Rachuonyo south Sub County director of education Julius Opondo has said. 

He said it is the responsibility of the centre managers to ensure the order is followed by the supervisors, invigilators and even the cooks to ensure the smooth conduct of exams and maintain its integrity . 

The education director addressed the center managers for 42 exam centres in the sub county in the afternoon when they delivered back the morning session paper at the container at Kosele ready to collect exams for the afternoon session. 

He said the morning chemistry paper session went on without any hitch. 

“Even with heavy rains pounding the area, the managers were at the container in time to collect the paper,” he said

He said the exam was able to reach the schools all the centres in time. 

There are 3,347 KCSE candidates in the 42 exam centres in the sub county.
