“KEBS has been able to start some reform programs that are starting to take shape and we’ve got a very able and effective Managing Director, quite seasoned in terms of what needs to be done,” he emphasized.
“Everything at KEBS is moving swiftly, starting from the people’s side, processes to the (Information Technology), IT section to reinforce our position with the customers and our position in terms of guiding the country, in terms of the chaos and the products coming in,” Munyiri added.
The Director, Standards Development and Trade KEBS, Esther Ngari, said the Institution has put measures in place to ensure clients get satisfactory services service.
“We have professional and competent staff, therefore, we needed to equip them well to serve our customers better and so we are here to ensure our staff fulfil our mandate, as an organization on conformity assessment, when they go out to the field with the required tools,” stated Ngari.
She thanked the NSC for giving the right resources to the management by facilitating the acquisition of the vehicles which she noted will enhance right services to Kenyans.
