KRA announces mass auction of cars, other items

The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced mass online auction of overstayed cargo.

The cargo under auction has overstayed at the port of Mombasa.

"The auction is running from Monday 14th August 2023 to Sunday 20th August 2023," KRA said in a statement.

Items being auctioned include cars, household goods, electronic appliances and furniture.

Bidders are required to log in to the above auction platform, using their KRA iTax PIN and iTax Password.

The bidding price on any item shall be final, and no taxation will be imposed.

However, registration with NTSA for cars will be done after one wins the bid at his or her own expense.
