Liverpool and Juventus have agreed a £10 million deal for the transfer of Federico Chiesa.

Reports reveal that the player has also agreed on personal terms and a Four year contract with the Reds.

The 26-year-old forward has already landed in Liverpool and set for his first medical tests scheduled for today.

Reports reveals that the deal also includes a further £2.5m in add-ons based on team performance.

Chiesa, who is into the final year of his contract was left out of new manager Thiago Motta's project.

“I’m very happy, I can’t wait to become new Liverpool player. Me and my family, we’re so happy really”Chiesa said.

"I want to thank the Juventus fans, thanks for all the affection over the years, I'll keep you in my heart, thanks Juventus.

“Now it’s time for Liverpool, I’m so happy. I can’t wait!” he added.

Chiesa has been hit by a series of injuries, including a 10-month cruciate ligament lay-off, since helping then-manager Roberto Mancini's Italy team to success in Euro 2020, played in 2021.

Sources reveal that Juventus will try to go for Jadon Sancho as a possible replacement.

Liverpool completed the signing of Georgian goalkeeper Mamardashvili from Valencia as their first signing but the player was loaned to Valencia as he will be part of the 2025/26 project.

Liverpool are now two wins in two Premier league matches at the new season and will expect Chiesa to steam up the squad.
