Mastercard Foundation scholars program invites applicants for September 2024 intake at USIU-Africa

The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at USIU-Africa has invited interested applicants for its September 2024 intake.
The programme will provide full-cost scholarships to young Africans who are first-time undergraduate degree-seeking applicants.
The undergraduate Scholarships programme is looking for both male and female applicants not exceeding 29 years with refugees, displaced persons and persons living with Disabilities eligible to apply.
According to the programme's eligibility criteria, applicants must meet the universities admission requirements as per the Kenya commission for University Education with equivalent skills like Academic talent, commitment to give back to their communities, Leadership potential and meet USIU-Africa’s admissions criteria and academic qualifications
The programme offers 11 approved undergraduate programmes including Bachelor of Science in Applied Computer Technology, Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and Technology, Bachelor of Pharmacy, Bachelor of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Bachelor of Arts in Animation, Bachelor of Arts in Film Production and Directing, Bachelor of Science in Finance, Bachelor of Science in International Business Administration, and Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
The scholarship Award will be valid for four academic years with value of packages including tuition and functional fees, Laptops, books and other learning materials, Reasonable accommodation and meals, Medical insurance, Stipend, Transport to and from home, Access to leadership training, Access to entrepreneurial training, Psycho-social support, career counselling and mentorship program.
The Annual scholarship programme is a joint partnership between The United States International University-Africa (USIU-Africa) and the Mastercard Foundation offering academically talented youth from Africa facing financial, gender, displacement, or disability constraints an opportunity to access world class university education.
