Narok residents came in large numbers to validate the County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP), ahead of its approval by the County Assembly.

“Today we are conducting this process so as to verify the views that the wananchi gave on the CIDP in readiness for the final stage of approval by the county assembly” said Wanyeki.

Mr Wanyeki added that the CIDP is a guiding document for the formation of a county finance bill, which is a requirement by the constitution.

Wanyeki added that this year’s plan is unique to other years due to a high number of participants with over 150 people participating in the event.

“Today’s event is unique to other years owing to the high attendance and the caliber of people present ranging from the normal wananchi to very senior officials from different organisation” added Wanyeki.
