Masakwe All Stars secured a 3-2 victory over Professionals FC at Masakwe TVET grounds to kick start the NGCDF tournament in Sensi Ward Kitutu Chache North constituency.

The teams participated in a tournament sponsored by the devolved kitty under MP Japheth Nyakundi, as part of a total of 16 teams.

 Nyakundi inaugurated a tournament highlighting the potential of youth talents in soccer and sports, promising prizes including Ksh 200,000 and Ksh.100, 000 for winners and runners-up.

 The lawmaker encouraged people to engage in sports during the current holidays to avoid alcohol/drug abuse, as soccer has become professional, providing a respite during economic hardship.
