Manchester United bottled two chances for a win as they drew 2-2 with Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford on Sunday evening.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe who was in attendance for the first time as prospective part-owner of the club, watched as side continued to struggle defensively having won only once in their last six Premier league matches.

United started well as they commanded a lead in just three minutes when Marcus Rashford served a fine bal to Rasmus Højlund, who sent it into the back of the net scoring his second consecutive Premier league goal.

Spurs certainly pressed for and early equalizer as Timo Werner and Rodrigo Bentancur headed efforts were denied by the goalkeeper.

Eventually, Richarlison restored parity for spurs as he pounced onto Pedro Porro’s delivery into the far corner for his sixth goal in the premier league campaign.

The red devils restored their lead through Rashford who combined well with Højlund before rolling the ball into the far corner to end a 14-match scoring drought for his club at Old Trafford.

Romero’s goal kick pass dropped onto Timo Werner who opened for Rodrigo Bentancur wasting no chance to lash it past André Onana for an equalizer.

With many chances missed the final whistle sealed the draw as Spurs retained their 5th position with 40 points as United climbed to 7th with 32 points.
