Brazilian winger Vinicius Junior has labelled his coach at Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti as the best in the world.
The foward has scored 21 goals and provided 16 assists for Real in 45 games this season under Ancelotti, discovering his best form under the Italian tactician.
On Wednesday night, Vini assisted twice as the Spanish giants beat Chelsea 2-0 in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinal meeting at Santiago Barnabeu.
The 22-year-old said after the match that Ancelotti is the best in business, stating that he wants him at Real Madrid and the Brazilian national team.
"Ancelotti is the best coach in the world, for me and for all the players in the team. Hopefully, he can train me both at Real Madrid or in Brazil," he said as quoted by Goal.com.
The Brazilian national team is yet to find a permanent coach, since the departure of Tite.
Tite left after the 2022 world cup in Qatar. Ancelotti has been touted as Tite's successor.
Chelsea and Real Madrid meet for the second leg at Stamford Bridge next week.
Junior wants his teammates to approach the tie with caution, despite having a 2 goal advantage.
"We always have to stay strong for the second round. We know it's complicated but we're in good shape physically. We always want to win more goals. It's very difficult to play against Chelsea, who play with three central defenders plus two full-backs who come down to defend and it's very difficult."
The Real Madrid/Chelsea winner will face off with the winning side between Manchester City/Bayern Munich in the semis.
