Wilson Airport honored with prestigious Regional Airport award

The Wilson Airport has been honored with the prestigious Regional Airport of the year at this year's Aviators Africa Tower Awards today. 

The Airport beat other leading African Airports like Kimberly Airport in South Africa, Kumasi Airport in Ghana and Uyo Airport in Nigeria to bag to top prize in the Brand category. 

"This victory highlights our unwavering dedication to excellence and innovation." Wrote Kenya Airport Authority. 

KAA AG. Managing Director Henry Ogoye was proudly presented the trophy by Regional Airport manager overseeing Wilson and Nothern Region Airports Joseph Okumu. 

Organized by Aviators Africa, the Tower Awards celebrate and recognize outstanding achievements and sustainability within the African Aviation sector.

The Award ceremony took place on 29th September 2023, coinciding with the African Aviation Sustainability Conference (AASC) in Johannesburg, South Africa.

KAA hailed its team and partners for contribution to the achievement.
