About 196KGS of Bhang sealed in bean sacks have been seized at Archers post in Samburu County on Monday night.
Three suspects have tonight been arrested as they were found trafficking the illegal consignment of Bhang.
The three include a driver of KCZ 198E trailer Isaack Mohammed Bakacha, 34 and two other occupants, Harun Mohammed Galgalo and Ali Abdikadir Mohammed aged 20 and 22 respectively were intercepted by a multi-agency operation team, after police K-9 at the roadblock discovered the concealed drug.
The 66 bales of bhang discovered are estimated at a street value of Sh5.9 million.
The bhang have since been secured as exhibits with the trafficking vehicle also being detained pending further investigations.
Detective have been on the radar of drug Trafficking an activity that has recently been on the surge across the country.
