Manchester United Advanced safe to the fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup as they defeated Wigan Athletic 2-0 at the DW Stadium on Monday.

Marcus Rashford tested Sam Tickle with a fierce effort, before Scott McTominay fired narrowly wide from inside the penalty area.
Finally, it was Diogo Dalot who would relieve the desperation for a goal when he striked an effort into the far corner midway through the half to send united into the first Half with a goal up.
United's intensity inside the second half dropped as they failed to create more threatening chances.
United doubled their advantage from the spot though after Bruno Fernandes was brought down in the penalty area by Liam Shaw, the captain netted united's second that would be the last goal of the game.
The victory means the Red devils have only lost one of their previous 20 meetings with Wigan.
United will now face Newport County or non-league Eastleigh in the fourth round.
