252 bags of stolen Government Fertilizer recovered at Church hall

About 252 bags of suspected stolen fertilizer believed to be owned by the Government of Kenya were recovered at a Narok Church hall on Wednesday.
Following the recovery, a male suspect was arrested and arraigned on Thursday at the Milimani Law Courts where he was charged with conveying suspected stolen property.
Robert Kipng'etich Bett alias Raphael who alleged to be a farm manager employed by a Kericho-based businessman Joseph Kiplangat Keter was arrested at Ololulunga in Narok South, being the custodian of the fertilizer found stored at the Grace Covenant Church.
The second suspect Joseph Kiplagat Keter is alleged to have bought the fertilizer from a renowned dealer operating within the North Rift region.
The first accused Robert Kipng'etich was released on a Ksh 500,000 cash bail pending the 1st hearing of the case on Friday, January 5, 2024 while a man haunt is underway to nab the second suspect.
