AFCON 2023 ; Egypt's Salah ruled out for two games with hamstring injury

Egypt foward Mo Salah has picked up hamstring injury and will miss two games for Egypt as reported by the Egyptian Football Federation.
“Egyptian Football Federation announces the injury of Mohamed Salah with a strain in the hamstring muscle”.
“It will cause him to miss two matches in the Africa Cup of Nations against Cape Verde and in the Round of 16 in the case of qualification”, official statement reports.
Salah was substituted in the first half during their 2-2 draw against Ghana as he went down unable to continue.
Salah played 90 minutes in their first match where they drew 2-2 against Mozambique in a match where he provided an assist and scored the equalizer from the penalty spot in the Stoppage minutes.
Egypt face Cape Verde in their last group B match in a must win match as Ghana face Mozambique.
Cape Verde lead group B with 6 points having won their first two matches as Egypt come second with only two points from two hard-earned draws,Mozambique are third with 2 points as Ghana trail with only one point.
