Akothee claims to be single

Famous singer and entrepreneur Esther Akoth, also known as Akothee, has surprised netizens by announcing that she is single once again.

The mother of five, who earlier this year married Swiss Dennis Schweizer, nicknamed Omosh, went to her TikTok account and posted a message that she is now single.

"I am single again" Akothee attached this message with heartbreak and crying emojis.

However, in that post, Akothee did not disclose or further explain the reason for the announcement and how she ended up single.

On Thursday, Akothee's appearance accompanied by her former lover and manager Nelly Oaks sparked a conversation online, with many appearing to want to know where her husband Omosh was.

However, the singer denied any romantic relationship and said Oaks' presence at the event was because he was part of her family.

"We come from far. His grandfather left a legacy in my community. When you see Nelly near me, I don't care what you want to think.. Nelly, thank you for always being there for Akothee's brand and always being there for my children. He takes care of my children. They go out together, they dance. My children call him every day. When you see us, we are family," she said.

Akothee is a mother of five children, three girls and two boys, all of whom she had with her three former lovers.
