Allan Khaemba The Bungoma Man With Extra Toes And Fingers Fail To Secure A Chance In Kenya Police For 5th Time

Following the just concluded nationwide police recruitment a youthful man from Bungoma is crying for justice to join the national police service. Allan Khaemba a resident of Kanduyi constituency, Bungoma County has tried this luck for 5 consecutive times but failed to secure a chance. The youthful Khaemba age 25 year availed himself at the recruiting centre like ant youth and headed straight to Uwanja wa Ndege in Bungoma Town to join rest of the youth competing for the slot. Mr Khaemba who is a fourth born in a family of six attended Namachanja Secondary School within Kanduyi for his secondary education and he sat for his KCSE in 2017 scoring C plain. However his dream of joining National Police Service was shut off after recruiting officers claimed he is a disabled and he will not joined the service. Mr Khaemba who has extra toes claimed that his aim was to join the service to help his parents in alleviating them from poverty as well as taking care of the other siblings. But the recruiting officers said the young man is disabled and could not be selected. During the recruitment exercise it emerged that majority of the youths were locked out due lack of original identity cards,certificates of goodconducts and KCSE certificates this is according to senior recruiting officer Mr Reuben Kemboi. Mr Kemboi further noted that majority were left out due to disability cases. During the recruitment exercise women were required to run for 4km while men were required to run for 6km to ascertain their physical fitness. The police service had given the region 20 slots as 18men were required and two ladies. According to officer the exercise were open and transparent as youths who were unlucky being encouraged to try their luck in the next recruitment.
