Beauty contest to be held in Butere Sub County

A beauty pageant is set to be held in Butere Sub County during the December holidays to tap talents and empower the youth in the region.

Area Member of Parliament (MP) Tindi Mwale said the winner, 1st runners–-up,2nd runners-up will win cash awards, college sponsorship, and ambassadorial jobs.

He said the event is sponsored by the Tindi Mwale Foundation, iZONE Entertainment and the Garden Lodge resort based in Sabatia.

“The Miss Butere 2023 edition includes college scholarship, cash awards and an ambassadorial job for the Tindi Mwale Foundation,” He said.

He said the winner would bag shillings 100,000, full college sponsorship, and become the Tindi Mwale Foundation brand ambassador.

The 1st runners-up will get shillings 60,000 and a half college scholarship as 2nd runners-up receives shillings 40,000 and a half college sponsorship.

The MP was speaking yesterday in his constituency encouraged the youth to apply for the contest and realize their hidden talents.
