Deputy President William Ruto on Wednesday hosted former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo at his official residence in Karen, Nairobi.
According to photos shared by the Tujibebe Party leader on his official Twitter handle, the meeting was also attended by Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi.
In a tweet, Kabogo said he had paid the DP a courtesy call, where they discussed many issues.
“Courtesy call on the chief hustler. We discussed many issues,” Kabogo tweeted.

Even though what the two discussed remains known only to the three – DP Ruto, Kabogo and Sudi, it is widely thought that Kiambu gubernatorial contest was also part of the discussions.
Kabogo is in the race to reclaim the gubernatorial seat he lost to former county boss Ferdinand Waititu in 2017.
He is vying for the seat under his Tujibebe party, which has already declared support for the DP presidential bid under the Kenya Kwanza Alliance.
There are several politicians also eyeing the seat among them the current Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria who will be vying on his Chama cha Kazi party.
The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) is also expected to field a candidate with Senator Kimani Wamatangi among those seeking the ticket.
With the possibility of Kenya Kwanza-allied parties fielding gubernatorial candidates separately in the race, there have been fears that it would be an easy ride for the Jubilee candidate – governor James Nyoro, who is expected to be backed by Azimio la Umoja parties.
Of late, Ruto has been engaging aspirants in various counties, reigning on others to step down, in what has been seen as efforts to avert fallout that might be witnessed as a result of disputed nominations and the risk that comes with having candidates face off from same coalition partners.
Already, the DP in consultation with Amani National Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya’s Moses Wetangula has managed to broker a deal for the Kakamega and Kisii gubernatorial contest.
Former Senator Dr. Bonny Khalwale of the UDA party agreed to drop the Kakamega gubernatorial seat bid in favor of ANC’s Cleophas Malala, while Charles Matoke of ANC shelved his gubernatorial ambition in Kisii County to support Ezekiel Machogu of UDA.
