The family of the suspect in the Kware murder has spoken and revealed things about him.

Collins Jumaisi, the main suspect in the Kware murder, has little-known details about his life.

The suspect who is currently being detained for 30 days while the investigation continues was born in February 1991 in Hamisi, Vihiga County.

He later moved to Migori county with his mother and three siblings after their father died in 1995.

"His father was called Elijah Jumaisi. He married me in 79 and died in 85," Mrs. Magret Rose Jumaisi, the suspect's mother, told Citizen TV in an interview.

Mrs. Margret revealed details about Jumaisi's education revealing that she sent him to a high school in Uganda because she could not raise enough money to send him to the school he was invited to in Kenya after he passed the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education exams.

"He studied there (Uganda) for three years. Those three years, I left there and returned to Busia where I used to live. When I went to Uganda I did not find him, I found that he had escaped and his colleague had come to Nairobi," he said.

The suspect's sister and brother say they are very surprised by the things they hear their brother accused of doing.

Mr Ruebena Elijah Muhanji, who is the suspect's brother, has asked for a thorough investigation to be done to find out if their brother was really responsible for the murder of the women whose bodies were found dumped in the Kware area, Mukuru Kwa Njenga street.

"The act that he has done is very bad, bad that I cannot say that he should be done this way or that way. But I ask the government to conduct an investigation so that it is known whether it is true or not," Elijah said.

The suspect's family said he has been missing since 2022, while his mother claimed that at one point she thought her son had died.

The mother-in-law of the Kware murder suspect spoke, explaining why she did not report her daughter's disappearance

Josephine claimed that her daughter ran away from home in 2021 after refusing to continue her studies.
