Governor Lusaka wants 'Jesus of Tongaren' arrested

Bungoma governor Ken Makelo Lusaka wants police to investigate one man in his County.
Lusaka on Saturday wanted Eliud Wekesa alias 'Jesus of Tongaren' to be investigated for masquerading as Jesus Christ, the son of God.
He says Wekesa should be investigated to confirm whether he holds cultic tendencies, as 'Pastor' Paul Mackenzie of the Good News International 'Church.'
The former Senate Speaker said Wekesa is tainting the name of Bungoma County, with the area having produced great men of God.
"Bungoma is a home of men of God such as Bishop Philip Anyolo, Bishop Eliud Wabukala and Cardinal Otunga, just to name a few. We cannot allow few people to taint the name of Bungoma," said Lusaka while speaking at his Kamkuywa home.
Additionally, the County boss urged the government to ensure that families of all who lost their lives during the Shakahola massacre get justice.
Over 100 died after being brainwashed into 'fasting to death to meet Jesus' by Mackenzie.
"The Shakahola massacre has caught the attention of the entire country and the world at large, indeed it is shocking, the investigating bodies should move with speed to unfold this and ensure that those who lost their loved ones get justice," said Lusaka.
Kimilili MP Didymus Barasa and Kakamega Senator Bonny Khalwale are among other leaders to have called for investigation of 'Yesu wa Tongaren.'
