Governor urges county administrators to uphold integrity and ethics

Bungoma County Governor Kenneth Lusaka has called on the county administrators to uphold integrity and works ethics in their day to day activities.

Speaking at Mabanga ATC during his installation as the Head of County Administration and Enforcement, Lusaka urges the administrators not to use excess force in the execution of their duties.

The governor emphasized the importance of officers not using excessive force in their duties and warned that any case involving humiliating residents will be met with full legal force.

Lusaka said his Cabinet is finalizing a service scheme for county administration officers, which will be submitted to the County Assembly for approval to enhance public service.

“My government will be finalizing the scheme of service in our next cabinet meeting which will go along way in boosting the morale of our enforcement officers in the execution of their duties,” stated Lusaka. 

The governor further stated his administration is determined to fight the vice of teen pregnancies in the county to the end revealing he has scheduled a consultative meeting with key stakeholders on Tuesday January 16, at Lugulu Girls National School.

Deputy Governor Jennifer Mbatiany, County Secretary William Nasong'o, County Police Commander Francis Kooli, ward representatives and other top county officials were present.
