Harry Kane joins Bayern Munich

It is official.

German Bundelisga giants FC Bayern Munich have landed an accomplished striker, in the frame of Harry Kane.

The side, coached by former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel confirmed Kane's signing on Saturday morning from Tottenham for £100 million, after weeks of negotiations.

Shortly before Bayern confirmed landing their prizes asset, Tottenham Hotspur revealed that their captain was on his way out.

"We have reached agreement with Bayern Munich for the transfer of Harry Kane. Thank you for your incredible contribution to our Club over the years, Harry."

"Been an incredible welcome for me and my family in Munich in the last 24 hours! Buzzing to have signed for such a massive club with an incredible history, can't wait to get started!" said Kane in a post on social media.

The English man joins the Bundesliga champions for a long term contract, which runs until the summer of 2027.

The 30-year-old striker will take Robert Lewandowski's old No.9 shirt, vacated when he left for Barcelona a year ago.

Harry is both Tottenham Hotspur's and England's all-time highest goalscorer, as well as being the second-highest Premier League all-time goalscorer.

He has scored over 350 goals for club and country.
