The Kenya Harlequins rugby team is all set to compete in the highly anticipated Kitaka 10s tournament from October 26-27, 2024, in Kampala, Uganda. 

With a quality lineup full of experienced players and up-and-coming talent, the Harlequins seem set to have a big say in the prestigious event.

Leading that lineup is Michael Ochieng, who has shown good form in recent matches.

Working along with him will be Wycliffe Ochieng and Alvin Otieno, whose experience and skill add great value to the team. 

They are seasoned players that shall provide the backbone when things get heated up in this tournament.

The Harlequins will also be supported in key positions by the likes of Livingston Otieno and Bradley Odero, who are expected to be central in both defense and attack.

This will be important during their rounds in the league where the combination of agility and speed will be crucial in meandering their way through the fast-paced games of the tournament.

The team will also be graced with the presence of Vincent Omondi and Mathew Ouma, the latter serving as the team captain. 

Ouma is a very good team leader on the pitch; his experience will guide the youngsters in the midst of tough competition.

The squad also includes Felix Odhonji and Moses Matonda-energetic while on the pitch and versatile enough to fit in all different game strategies. 

Mike Munene, Brian Morgan, and Marvin Ng'ang'a add more beef and agility to complete the core team lineup.

The Harlequins have put together a capable support team on the technical bench, comprising Brian Onyiego, Kate Muisyo, and Chris Wangila.

They will also ensure that the players are well prepared physically and psychologically to handle any challenge ahead.

With only a few weeks before the tournament, the Harlequins are optimistic in an even stronger performance than what they did in the previous one.

The team has been training very hard and is ready to give their finest in this Kampala tournament.
