The CS announced that phase II of the CBC classroom project will feature the construction of another 5303 classrooms. "Before we leave office ladies and gentlemen, whether everybody likes it or not, by the end of this regime, we would have constructed 10,000 classrooms at a cost of Ksh780 million," Magoha stated. The CS also initiated the 100 per cent student transition into secondary schools. He successfully ensured that all candidates that sit for their KCPE examinations are enrolled in secondary schools. He has hit the headlines on numerous occasions when he has visited various parts of the country flushing out children who had failed to report to school for various reasons. The Elimu scholarship programme is another initiative achieved during the Magoha regime. The programme affords bright needy students "I want to thank the president for his wisdom. I want to say that now that there are 18,000 students whose scholarships have come through since 2019. "I talked to President Kenyatta this morning and we will add another 9,000 students to the programme this year," Magoha stated. He reiterated that the programme is aimed at offering education to bright children of needy families residing in Kenya's urban informal settlements. Magoha has also been the number one champion in the fight against examination cheating. The CS, in the course of his career, has set up guidelines that have curbed exam cheating in the country. He has relentlessly traversed the country throughout examination periods, ensuring exams are conducted with transparency.
