Manchester United manager wary of Aston Villa threat

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is wary of a threat posed by Aston Villa ahead of an English Premier League (EPL) match on Tuesday night.
United host Unai Emery's high flying side at Old Trafford starting 5pm tonight, with much at stake especially for Ten Hag's side which has been blowing hot and cold all season.
The dutchman addressing the press ahead of the encounter said Aston Villa is a good side, adding that his team will need to score early and take chances to win the game.
"Villa are a different side. They are in very good form and are a very good team. So we have first come to that point, but if you are creating the chances, you have to take them if you want to win the game because otherwise you don't win games. That's clear," he said.
Concerning his team, the former Ajax boss said winger Amad Diallo and defender Raphael Verane are expected back, after nursing injury and illiness respectively.
"I think hopefully Rapha Varane will return. So for the rest: maybe Amad Diallo. See how far he is. He has trained for two weeks now. They are probably the ones who can maybe return."
Luckily for the under fire United boss, the Red Devils have a very good record on Boxing Day.
As a matter of fact, no English side has won more league games on 26th December than Manchester United's 53.
Aston Villa currently occupy the third position with 39 points, 11 ahead of 8th placed United, after 18 rounds of play.
