Media Personalities Who vied and Won in Party Nominations

Some media personalities have joined other aspirants in seeking for party tickets in the just concluded primaries.
The journalists who vied and won the nominations include the former Kiss FM presenter Felix Odiwuor aka Jalang’o, Former KTN news anchor, Mwanaisha Chidzuga, former Al Jazeera reporter, Mohammed Adow, The former Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) Radio Taifa journalist Bonnie Musambi, former Inooro FM presenter, Waithira Muithirania, alias Nyanya Nyanya, city blogger, Robert Alai.
Mwanaisha Chidzuga who worked for KTN Will contest for the Matuga parliamentary seat under United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party where she will compete with her elder brother, Hassan Chidzuga.
Jalang’o who is eyeing Lang’ata Parliamentary seat after clinching the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party ticket will compete with the sitting Member of Parliament Nixon Korir of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) in the August general elections.
Bonnie Musambi of UDA who was among those who were given a direct ticket by the UDA Party, will contest for the Kitui Central parliamentary seat.
He will face off with the incumbent, Makali Mulu, who is defending his seat on a Wiper Party ticket.
The former Inooro FM presenter, Waithira Muithirania, alias Nyanya Nyanya) was given a direct ticket by the Jubilee Party to contest for the Muranga Woman Representative seat currently held by Sabina Chege - who is not seeking any elective post in this year's elections.
Mohammed Adow who also won the nominations to contest for the Wajir South Parliamentary seat was awarded the ODM certificate by the party leader Raila Odinga.
The city blogger, Robert Alai will contest for the Kileleshwa Member of County Assembly seat under the ODM party.
Among the media personalities who lost in the nominations is a Kameme radio presenter, Njogu wa Njoroge, who failed to clinch the UDA Njoro parliamentary ticket.
