Musalia Mudavadi-led Amani National Congress (ANC) party has announced dates for party nominations.
The party will conduct primaries in over 25 Counties across the Country, from April 12 to April 21, 2022.
"Pursuant to our notice dated 4th November 2021, and pursuant to part 24 of the party's election and nomination rules and procedures 2021, the EB hereby notifies all aspirants vying on the ANC ticket that the party nominations shall take place from the 12th day of April 2022 to the 21st day of April 2022 through the methods of direct nominations of candidates by the party's registered members and indirect nominations through consensus," reads a notice seen by this writer, signed by ANC elections board chairman, Salim Mohamed.

"The list of the eligible candidates for the various positions shall be made available on the party's website www.anc.co.ke on 7th April 2022. Take note that the list of polling centers shall be released on 8th April, 2022," he added.
According to the notice, Mombasa, Kwale, Kilifi , Tana River, Nandi and Garissa will kick off the exercise on April 12. In Taita Taveta, the date is April 13.
Marsabit, Meru, Tharaka Nithi, Embu, Nyeri, Samburu, Kiambu, West Pokot, Laikipia, Turkana and Nyamira Counties will hold ANC party nominations on April 14.
On April 15, the process will move to Trans Nzoia, Narok, Nyandarua, Murang'a and Nakuru, while Kericho and Bomet are lined up for April 16.
Busia, Bungoma and Vihiga Counties are set for April 18, before Kakamega moves in on April 19. Nairobi will close the chapter on April 21.
This comes as ODM primaries are ongoing across the Country.
Ford Kenya will conduct nominations from April 12 to 18, while UDA has set aside April 14 as the date for primaries.
