Nyeri UDA party members hold a sensitization forum

Mukurweini MP John Kaguchia has said that Nyeri County United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party members have agreed that the UDA Party will have one deputy leader, who is the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya Rigathi Gachagua.
Speaking when he attended a sensitization forum organized by the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party members ahead of the party's grassroots elections that will be conducted on 9th December 2023 the legislator called on all other political parties to consider merging with UDA, if they want to be part of the government.
Kaguchia said the UDA members have also agreed that the position of the Secretary-General will be occupied by a member from the Mt. Kenya region saying that they were the greatest stakeholders of the UDA Party.
During the event that was held at the UDA Regional Office in Gamerock Nyeri County members were briefed on the application process, and the Voting Process, for the elective positions among other pertinent issues to ensure they participate in the elections effectively.
The grassroots elections that will be held countrywide are by articles 14,15,16 of the UDA party constitution and articles 12,13 and 14 of UDA elections regulations.
The elections will be held from the polling center ward, constituency, and County levels.
In attendance were Nyeri County Governor Mutahi Kahiga, Deputy Governor, David Kinaniri, Wahome Wamatinga-Nyeri senator, Nyeri Town MP Dunn Maina, Kieni MP Njoroge Wainaina, and MCAs.
