Peter Lelei lands top job at National Police Service Commission

Former Tinderet Parliamantary hopeful Peter Lelei has landed a top job at the National Police Service Commission (NPSC).
Lelei has been appointed NPSC's Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
He will hold the position for the next five years. His appointment was confirmed by NPSC Chairperson Eliud Kinuthia, via a statement dated 12th April, 2023.
“The National Police Service Commission on the 12th of April appoints Peter Kiptanui Leley as the Chief Executive Officer/Commission Secretary of National Police Service Commission for a period of five years with immediate effect,” said Kinuthia.
Lelei takes over from Silas McOpiyo who has been holding the position in an acting capacity, since the coming to an end the term of Joseph Onyango in 2022.
Prior to his appointment, he was the CEO of Intergovernmental Relations Technical Committee.
