Kenya Police FC swept Kakamega Homeboyz 3-0 in a FKF Kenya Premier league match played on Saturday at the Police Sacco Stadium.

Musa Mohammed put Police ahead im just 2 minutes when he headed from a frer Kick perfectly delivered by Kenneth Muguna.

Homeboyz survived yet another scare when Brian Wekesa cleared the ball off the line after Owino capitalized on an error by Farouk Shikalo shooting into an open net.

In an attempt to change the results, head coach Patrick ‘Luwowo’ Odhiambo was forced to make changes subbing on winger Alex Imbusia for midfielder Estone Esiye.

Into the second half, Odhiambo made more changes subbing off Ambrose Sifuna for Chris Masinza, while Police boss Salim Babu made a double change by bringing on Tito Okello and Alvin Mangeni for Kinanga and Marvine Nabwire.

Police FC extended their lead in the 50th minute through birthday boy Muguna after Okoth ran with the ball down the left flank before he released a cross-cum-shot that Farouk Shikalo dealt poorly with by parrying it straight onto Muguna.

Hell broke loose for the visitors When Okelo found the back of the net in the 60th minute taking the scores 3-0.

Moses Shummah could have forced one back for the visitors when he received the ball well on the half turn from outside the box and then released a shot that forced Patrick Matasi into making a decent save.

The final whistle meant all three points for Police FC while the defeat added more woes to Homeboyz going three matches without a win.
