Public Service commission announces vacant positions

In a gazetted Notice posted on Tuesday, 19 September, 2023. The Public service commission has invited qualified applications to fill 394 vacant positions in 18 posts for various state Departments and Ministries.
The posts include 1 vacancy for the secretary of Irrigation under the state Department for Irrigation, 10 vacancies for the senior Principal laboratory technologist under the state Department for internal security and national administration and 315 vacancies for the civil registration officer under the state Department for immigration and citizenship services.
Under the state Department for Lands and Physical Planning, the commision has advertised 1 vacancy for the Director of physical planning, 1 vacancy for the Director of National Lands Information system, 1 vacancy for the senior Deputy director of National Lands Information management system, 2 vacancies for the Deputy director National Lands Information management system, 4 vacancies for the assistant director National Lands Information management system and 10 vacancies for the lands information management officer.
In addition, the commision has advertised for 1 vacancy for Deputy director Research, 2 vacancies for assistant director Research and 3 vacancies for research officials under the state Department for Lands and Physical Planning.
Applications have also been invited to fill positions in KISM for Deputy director KISM, Assistant director KISM, Dean Of students KISM, Academic registrar KISM, Senior Principal lecture KISM and vacancies for 31 valuation assistants III.

The public service commission is an independent Government commision established under article 233(1) of the Kenyan constitution whose mandate is to promote good governable and effectiveness in the provision of quality public service in the public as well as establishing and abolishing offices within the public service sector.
It also ensures provision of competent human resource.
