Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika has dismissed claims that she has fallen out with UDA party and section of its leaders in the region.
Speaking to Nation on Wednesday, Kihika noted that she is firmly in UDA party, adding that she has absolutely no issue with local or national leaders in the party.
According to Kihika reports of the alleged fallout are being fueled by he opponents who she’s accused of using propaganga to gain political mileage ahead of the August polls.
“I am not having any trouble with my party. That is political propaganda. I am firmly in the UDA party.
“All that is propaganda by my opponents, it is a political season and everything is possible,” she said during an interview with Daily Nation.
Regarding social media claims that she was recently slapped by Deputy President William Ruto’s aide Farouk Kibet, Kihika said nothing can be further from the truth.

She said Farouk is a close friend to her family, adding that reports of bad blood between them is also propaganda being peddled by her opponents.
“I do not have any issues with Farouk Kibet. That’s propaganda by my opponents who want to drive a wedge between us.
“We have no issues at all, Farouk was even the best man during my wedding, so he is a family friend. The issue that he slapped me last week is laughable. It was propaganda propagated by bloggers hired by my opponents,” she told the publication.
Meanwhile, a section of leaders from Nakuru County has accused Kihika of creating wrangles in the party and attempting to interfere with the recently concluded nominations.
Naivasha MP Jayne Kihara accused Kihika of secretely working with Jubilee and allegedly sponsoring moles to infiltrate UDA party and create discord.
“We can’t allow [Ms Kihika] to continue creating disharmony in our party unless the UDA top hierarchy is sanctioning her actions,”
Kihika has since dismissed the allegations terming them baseless and unfounded.
