According to Kihika reports of the alleged fallout are being fueled by he opponents who she’s accused of using propaganga to gain political mileage ahead of the August polls. “I am not having any trouble with my party. That is political propaganda. I am firmly in the UDA party. “All that is propaganda by my opponents, it is a political season and everything is possible,” she said during an interview with Daily Nation. That’s propaganda by my opponents who want to drive a wedge between us. “We have no issues at all, Farouk was even the best man during my wedding, so he is a family friend. The issue that he slapped me last week is laughable. It was propaganda propagated by bloggers hired by my opponents,” she told the publication. Meanwhile, a section of leaders from Nakuru County has accused Kihika of creating wrangles in the party and attempting to interfere with the recently concluded nominations. Naivasha MP Jayne Kihara accused Kihika of secretely working with Jubilee and allegedly sponsoring moles  to infiltrate UDA party and create discord. “We can’t allow [Ms Kihika] to continue creating disharmony in our party unless the UDA top hierarchy is sanctioning her actions,” Kihika has since dismissed the allegations terming them baseless and unfounded.
