Shujaa to face South Africa during New York Sevens

National Rugby Sevens team, Shujaa has been drawn in the Red Pool ahead of the inaugural New York City (NYC) Sevens set for July.

The competition will be staged at the Red Bull Arena in New York, USA on Saturday, 15th July, 2023.

Shujaa's opponents in the Red Pool are South Africa, New Zealand and Australia.

The Blue Pool consists of Fiji, France, Ireland and the hosts USA.

Kenya will open it's account with a match against New Zealand, before facing Australia and South Africa in that order.

Winners of each pool will compete in the final for the overall title, while the second placed teams will compete in the bronze medal match.

Third placed sides will battle for the plate title, while the bowl final will comprise of the fourth placed teams in each pool.
