Street Preacher Calls for Regulation of Churches to avert occultism

A street preacher in Kericho town has urged the government to regulate churches to offer protection to members of the public from occultism following the recent bizarre deaths occasioned by the strange teachings of cult leader Paul Mackenzie.
Apostle Samuel Rono took to the streets of Kericho town adorning sackcloth in lamentation that christians had sinned against the Lord and needed to repent after they abandoned the actual teachings of the Bible and followed occultism.
Speaking to KNA from the streets where he attracted the attention of passersby, Apostle Rono revealed that he wore sackcloth as an outward sign of mourning, repentance, or abasement.
“This sackcloth is made of black goat’s hair that is thick, rough, and coarse material and it is very uncomfortable to wear, and I urge church leaders to wear it and repent like the people of Nineveh who heeded Jonah’s warnings and realised they had grieved God’s heart so deeply that everyone from the King to the poor put on sackcloth and ashes—they even dressed their livestock in sackcloth and ashes,” said Apostle Rono
Apostle Rono claims that he was in standard four when God divinely anointed him to preach and pray for the sick in hospitals nationwide.
“I have been praying for the sick at various hospitals around the country including Kenyatta National Hospital, Kericho County Referral Hospital, and other hospitals in Kisii, Kisumu, Homa bay, Siaya, Kakamega, and Kiambu,” added Apostle Rono
He urged Kenyans to be careful to discern the true servants of God by observing their actions and listening to the message they preach instead of following fake preachers and antichrists.
“True preachers should purely preach the word of God without adding their doctrines which are not scriptural and this calls for Christians always to confirm the doctrines from the Bible and by doing that, they will be safe from indoctrination,” he said.
