The Saudi League is better than MSL-Ronaldo

The battle between the two world soccer giants in the current century, Christiano Ronaldo and Messi, is far from over.

This is after Ronaldo hit his teammate Messi a day after he was introduced as a player for Inter Miami that participates in the American league, MSL.

Ronaldo, in an interview with the media in Portugal, confessed that he has contributed in persuading many players from different leagues to move to the Saudi league, in only seven months since he landed in the Al Nassr club in Saudi Arabia.

Ronaldo said that the Saudi league so far is better than the MSL where Messi went to play.

"The Saudi league is BETTER than MLS," said Ronaldo, who aimed to attack Messi in a secret way.

The 38-year-old player admitted that he has finished his work in the European leagues, saying that the leagues have dropped in the standards of the game, with the exception of the Premier League in England.

"I will not return to European football, forget it - the door is completely closed. I am 38 years old, also European football has lost great quality... the only legitimate one is the Premier League, they are ahead of all other leagues," the Portuguese said.

He also talked about his influence on many players, saying that wherever he goes, he attracts many to follow him, citing as an example when he went to Italy's Juventus and revived the league, a similar thing that he has caused in the Saudi league.

"I am 100% sure I will not return to any European club. I paved the way to the Saudi league... and now all the players are coming here. In one year, more and more players will come to Saudi. When I joined Juventus, Serie A was dead and then after I signed... it was revived. Wherever Cristiano goes, he generates high interest," he boast himself.

The player ended by predicting that in the next one year, the Saudi league will be better and higher in game standards than the Turkish and Dutch leagues.
